Harry Houdini is without doubt the most famous magician of all time. Houdini was born under the name of Erik Weisz on 24 March 1874 and sadly passed away on 31 October 1926 at age 52. Houdini was a Hungarian-American illusionist and stunt performer, noted for his amazing escapism acts. He first made a name for himself in the United States as "Harry Handcuff Houdini", and later on a tour of Europe, where he challenged the police force to keep him locked up. Soon he expanded his repertoire to include chains, ropes slung from high-rise buildings, straitjackets used underwater, and
